Probably Avast being over protective, but it wont let me visit the site.

I spent 3 weeks in the Viper factory about 9 years ago. That is one big engine. I made friends with the road tester whose job it is to road test any
car that has "noises" in the transmission to identify the source. He found one that "needed" looking at and asked if I
wanted to come along to listen out. Ahem. Boy that is one fast car even with 1500kg to pull. In an 800kg locost you are going to need new tyres
EVERY time you put your foot down.
In 2nd gear you need to lean your head forwards before stamping your right foot. In 6th gear, 25 MPH is at 500 RPM which is the engine's tick
over. It hums along nice and quietly. Put your foot down and it pulls. Hard. No fuss or grumbling. Acceleration. This is a bad boy of a car. In
a viento it will be unbridled lunacy. I want a go.

glad you all like it, its been on hold for a year because i lost use of workshop, hoping to get it out of store in the next couple of weeks to get on
with it, its now a lot different.
bonnet joined to front to make a flip front, and the luego scoop turned into a bulge to get over inlet and to hide whats under bonnet
ford thunderbird rear uprights
330mm discs with 6 pot calipers
original chassis as supplied by luego
and the heavily triangulated chassis after my mate sorted the strenth, note in the second pic the door to rear arch area changed for extra strenth,
also top rail is 2x1 on its side to give and extra inch so the engine fits under bonnet.
wilwood front mustangII uprights, and hub
wheels are mustang FR500 replicas 9j x 18 front with 255/35 18's and 10j x 18 295/30 18 rear
standard rear arch looks good with a 10j under it, fits perfect

standard cosworth sierra drive shaft looks a little anorexic nect to my cobra mustang shafts, the pic doesn't show the size difference as much
as it is, and to lift one, they are solid and weigh some.

its come a long way, the car i took to Newark was the weak luego chassis before my friend worked his magic, it was unpainter, was running granada
hubs, it was lashed together to show the engine off at the show, and I wanted it on wheels to make moving it easier, you saw it like this.
