another tin-top needed [not Scootz this time....]

a mate of mine needs a 'new' car

Under £800
Mot'd
Estate (or maybe 4x4 or even a van)
within 200 miles of Edinburgh
Something that will last longer than 5 years - with minimum work

oh and he needs it with-in 2 weeks......

anyone got soething like that ?

Anything german or swedish, post 1995 ish so its galvanised and in the best condition he can get for the money. Ebay or autotrader would be my favourites.

Issue is, to find one in good nick you have to look at a few, and that eats money pretty quickly, so sometimes youre better spending a couple of hundred quid more and looking at fewer cars.

Find him a Volvo 940 and job done. £800 will get you a choice.
