There is a whole app store like iPhone (ish) but how good is the device at making calls, how intuitive is the OS, how easy is it to use, does it crash, is the key pad easy to use or too small etc etc!

Thanks

all the things you ask are excellent on the the bold, and from the reviews the torch seems no different, apart from the added bonus of the touch screen. BB aren't toys like the iphone and android so you don't get all the silly games/apps, but for communications they are brilliant. If you have other friends on BB the BB instant messaging is excellent and free to send messages and pictures

oh and my bold very very rarely crashes, infact my old curve i only ever pulled the battery a handful of times in 18 months. i probably do it about once a week on the bold, but most of the time thats because the opera mini web browser i installed is a bit shit, but still better than the BB OS5 web browser, which has now replaced on the torch (OS6) and apparently very good.

Ooooo so jealous Harvey - It's the 'phone I really want!!

I love BB's - great devices and the Torch is their flagship model for now. Not many games but not designed that, but that's nto a bad thing. Brickbreaker is about advanced as the gaming allows on my old BB!

Hello Michael, hope you're well?

I've been a BB user for a long time. I was the classic early adopter in the early/mid 2000's and have used one since. I've always had two devices using a phone for making calls and the BB as the email terminal, currently a BB curve.

I've been asked by work to drop one of the devices (times are hard) so I'm going to have to use one device moving forward. The standard seems to be the torch, hence me getting one!

I'm not that happy TBH, as I would much prefer to keep both but it seems a reasonable compromise!

All sorted now, did a "wipe all" as recommended by a friend who had the same issue when he forst had one, it runs great now!! Great bit of kit!!!! Its has backed up my dislike of touch screen phones, but (and this is the reason i got it) it can be used fully without even touching the screen. I am only using the touch screen to move and zoom around web browser and photos. I'm looking for the option to turn off the touch screen function!!

Austin

Pleased you've got to grips with it!

The more I use it the more I like it! Can't use the touch screen as my fingers are too fat but other than that, its great!
