"what you up to today ?"
Can someone please translate this into man talk please ?
When asked this I know for sure swimbo as somthing planned, shopping, some odd job around the house I'm oblivious too, trouble is I
haven't got a clue what it is, then when I reply "why what needs doing" I get "nothing just asking" which I can
translate into (you know what I want doing are you doing it today) trouble is I dont have a clue what it is........
Now I do have plans to get the car out quick spanner check and oil change after last track day and in preparation for the next one, sure this
ain't swimbos plans today though.
Anyone help me out here or is it not just the isonblade house thats affected with this question ?

i'm terrible at this, I normally just end up in the garage... after an hour or so she comes and tells me after a bit of grumping and coaxing
what needs doing.

I moan like hell when she drops things on me like that. I say to swmbo that i need notice when things need done, like the washing, clearing up or
shopping, especially when i have got plans to work on the car! Then i blame her for not getting much done. Win / Win.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

Genius. I might set up an 0800 number so that mine can "log a call with the helpdesk"!!

Richard.

Its the weekend so cooking duties for me... That is after I pop up to Kevill though. Track day I think so why not take her out (car that is and not
the wife) and get a sound check done just to see if it passes the 100db..

Wife at work. Daughter to ballet, son to train station to watch trains (he's only 2 1/2) then pick up daughter. Go to bank. Bring kids home,
feed and water kids. Plaster lounge walls (well that aint going to happen) play with kids. Do some washing. Check up on LCB to see whats happening.
Stop kids fighting. Sit with coffee thinking about wiring the car. Stop kids fighting.
Wife home, make subtle hints about garage time. Make obvious hints about garage time. Sit with coffee thinking about wiring the car.
THEN..... x-factor HAPPY DAYS GARAGE TIME......
Sunday, plaster the lounge.......
Dinner at the in laws......
back to work after a very nice week off..........

simple...
Stomp round the house making lots of obvious noise (as they do when they want noticed) "looking for something" when she eventually asks
what you have lost, tell her you are searching for your crystal ball so you can tell what it is she wants you to do !!
oh and be prepared to run/duck whatever.............
your on a looser no matter what, best get your tongue whipping over with.
Some people can never handle the truth and always try to shoot the messenger instead of taking an honest look in the mirror (its always easier to
blame another than to face reality), but secretly they wish they could grow a pair and be the messenger !!!
