I have a Tenda USB dongle that worked perfectly when I used to use it.
Yours free if you want it ?

One without an aerial as they brake. If its for a laptop get a PCMCIA one if it has a slot.
If not you won't go wrong with net gear......

I just got two of these for my business:

More convenient than a dongle as it lets you connect more than 1 device if needed (5 to be exact) as it acts as a mobile wireless hotspot.

WIFI USB
I always use cheapest stick ones off Ebuyer very good.
If any reception problems just stick on the end of a USB extension cable.

dont bother with a usb dongle, i have got through dozens and they break regularly. Best move i ever did was to get one of these:
Three MiFi
Not as cheap as some dongles but much less hassle and allows more than one device to connect at the same time as well as allowing you to place it away
from your laptop / pc to get a better signal if necessary
