I was expecting something that would eat the Midge kitcars (based on Spitfire donor)!

Ho no - the Midge is much fiercer than the Mosquito. It kills through persistence and hunts in packs.
The only known defence is to smoke
roll - ups continuously. People have been known to take up smoking for this very reason.
