Bl**dy Bike carbs....Pt 2....Solved

It's often stated that posts requesting help often don't get closed of with a resolution.

So furthur to This Thread I can happily say it's sorted.

After the third strip I opted to take the carbs to a local bike shop as I know he's got a super duper ultrasonic
hot bath just for this sort of job. On inspection he said they looked very clean bt the float hights were 1-1.5mm
out. So a good session in the bath and the levels set I parted with £60 and went home to fit them.
To say I was pi55ed off was an understatement. It would now start on full choke and run but it coughed, spat
back, mis fired and cut out as soon as any throttle was applied. It initially ran on three so swapped plugs then coils
(COP) but it still missed on No 1. Seemed to spit back through all carbs at random.
But as the engine warmed I was able to back the choke of and tickle the throttle. Eventually it suddenly decided
to rev better but not prefect so I thought I'd try a road test.
First mile was crap, missing and popping but all of a sudden cleared and took off like the proverbial scolded cat.
It now runs better than it ever has and power wheelies in secon which it never did before.

So can only assume there was crap in the tiny drillings which the washer loosened and a blast blew out.
