Ask the question :-
"Would any Locoster within 20 minutes of Glasgow be willing to rent out some workshop space that the may or may not have free" ?
You might get lucky......
Clue - it's not me

1. my dad dosent have a garage, his car sitts on his very expensive cobbled driveway
2 thougth about this but its a bit hard as a. i am a student so money is tight ,but is still doable and b. where do you look for garages to rent? gspc
dosent seem to like listeng themn and there are precious few of them by the look of things round where i live (tennants brewery is at the end of my
street)
3. teniment, so no garden and my dads garden is in the process of being done up so he wont want and old car sitting in his ornimental pond.
4. no one i know in glasgow has a garage (we all live in red sandstone teniments) one friend is asking some farmers he knows but isnt holding out much
luck
and in responce to moving house.
it took AGES to get this wee place so im not moving till i finish uni.
what is it about me that makes me look like i know what im doing????

Council Garages
Our local council will rent garages to anyone, but the waiting list is prioritised.
1. Disabled council tenants.
2. Disabled non council tenants.
3. Council tenants
4. Anyone else.
Think there'll be a "you can't build anything in the garage" clause though.
A bit of slapstick never hurt anyone.

I'm using my basement. problem is that the car wont fit out the door, I will have to cut in half (I havnt finish welding the center section yet
either) to get it out. The problem after that is re-aligning th achassis so it sits right after it's removal from the basement. I think it might
work out in the end, just be creative.

I am thinking of putting the build on ice for the time being and sorting an extension to the house out a garage at the side is in order. The shed is
getting to small and the winter is coming, gets a wee bit cold working in that shed

You live in Wellpark area? what street?
I know a man locally who has a couple of units. I'll try and get a phone number.
They're in Dennistoun, so easily walkable from you.
