Screen format on a lcd TV!!
Why is that when even I'm watching F-1 or the Moto-GP that I can't the the positions that they put up on the left side of the screen????
I've tried changing the format to wide/standard/zoom and its the same.. Yet on those old crt TV's is was not an issue.. Surely there must
be some thing I can do..
Any HELP is much appreciated

I leave it on 'Normal', and it's all good for me on Sky and an LCD TV. But it could also be due to the connection. Are you using
SCART or HDMI?

Make sure that the screen size is set at 16:9 on your TV and also on your sky box output. you have to tell it if its on a scart lead that it is
connected to a wide screen TV. Google it for details.
Also check that the TV is set to 'Auto' if its there.

Move the TV over to the left a bit ?
I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

Almost certainly this, go in to settings on the sky box and set it up to match your TV, so if you have a widescreen tv select 16:9, turn letterbox off
and all should be good.

Mines fixed thanks! Cheers OP for bringing this one up. It was indeed the picture setting on my sky box still being 4:3. Found a channel with half a
word missing, and im amazed because now the word isnt even near the side of the screen!
