Binning TV - Any Components Worth Keeping?

Just about to take my broken (screen) Panasonic TV to the tip... before I do so, are there any parts worth keeping?

Is that a TXP42G15?

Shame as if it was more local Id take it for parts?

Stick it on ebay you might get a tenner for it.

I know its sad, but our old tv went to the tip, in bits after i removed all the self tapping screws, as they are very usefull!

I was actually taking it to bits first as it was a crt 32" that weighed the same as my mondeo, so broke it up first for ease of moving it about

You are forgetting THE GOLDEN RULE - never, ever throw anything out - it may come in useful some day (usually the day after you throw it out!!)
