Engineering term to process a tube end concave cut

Hi all,

Running through a tendership contract at work for some fabrication that is required and having a dumb moment. Goggle didnt really help.

So, as title. I have 2 pieces of tube to be joined in a "T" orientation. What do I do to the top of the vertical one to get a nice close fit ready for welding?

Scollop?
swage?
cut end in concave rad....

Cheers.

I think the 2 are interchangabe. The tool for cutting it in a round tube is known as a "tube notcher"
