What's your new year resolution?

The trouble with new year resolutions is making them specific enough without being unachievable.

Mine is to stop wasting time by not using the internet between 0900 and 1200 thuis doubling my work output. And before you ask - no I don't work for someone else

I did it for two months last year and lapsed at the autumn hols and never got back into it so nows the time!

What's your resolution?

Cheers!

Lose weight, wii fit says I'm nearly obese

Gym joined and diet sorted, beer hidden, sorted!

Note to self must try harder this year, although now gym is costing me money I'm probably more likely to go just to get value

Cheers

Rich

1. go to bed earlier and so being generally more productive (he says, posting at 4.30am New Years Day. But then I have just got in from work)- like others here, the internet is a big time waster. Am targetting 12am as an achievable time for bed!

2. train more- if I don't win the 2013 Savate Europeans this year (a springboard to the 2014 Worlds) I'm not sure I ever will.

3. Make more effort to keep in touch with, and see, my friends.

Happy New Year all!

James

Seriously need to shed some timber!
Have put on a few stone this year (steroid infusion didn't really help) So going to get out on the bike every morning and do some miles (provided its
not raining)
Also going to get the Indy through the IVA this month so I can look at the next toy/project.

I've already got my eye on a DNA FourThirty..... Could be interesting...

I have a few on:

1. Do some work to the house to get it turned around.

2. Spend more time with my two boys, especially my eldest and get more involved in his school work.

3. I WILL enter my car in the WSCC Speed Series (got license, got car, just need FIA clothing and SNELL helmet, as well as a trackday or two with my new Westy).

4. I was training for triathlon since August too but at the end of November I got a virus which stayed with me through December and I'm really just getting over it now - apparently Post Virus Fatigue is a thing (and not a good thing I might add - I'm weak as a kitten at the moment). So, my resolution is to get myself back to where I was mid November then push onwards and complete the Castle Howard Triathlon in July (and maybe a few other events along the way too).

5. My missus also starts work again on Thursday this week after 4 years out of the workplace following redundancy. We've jointly resolved to make a better go of the finances as we're now in a position to make a real difference for our future.

2013 is going to be a good one in our house

Lose weight. Lose more weight and maybe a bit more. currently just over 17st as a result of stopping smoking. BMI approx 33 so whether you are a fan of that or not, it ain't good.

Also spend more time in the water and on the bike. Maybe try running but dodgy knees/feet may spoil that.

Spend as much spare time (ie when not doing family things/cycling/swimming etc) trying to practice the guitar

Might treat myself to a drink - first in 26 years on my birthday

Yep, was going to post much the same...
Truck done and iva'd before the summer
Perhaps not setting up my own business, but certainly make something of myself, good job, few flats to rent out (I know it's not as good as it used to be) just get myself sorted
Do some awesome stuff I've never done before, track day, fly a small plane, skydive etc
See some cool places, starting with the islands
Sort out the extra trimmings I have, get fit, and sort a few other things
Stop being the waste of time I've become lol
The list goes on really
Maybe should include, stop dreaming so much...
