Sorry but Mega OT: Advice from LCB required - Organising a large stag do

Hi all,

Sorry for the haters that want this to be cars only but your just all too experienced and knowledgable in many other areas, so here is one for ya!!

I am organising a stag do, approximatly for 17 people. I need to organise monies including diposits. In the past I have used chillisauce which is very good (and highly recommended). The payment system allows anybody to log in and pay money. It also shows the progress of all others paying off their amounts which anybody can see. This allow for peer pressure from others and lees effort from the stag (all good to me).

I need a similar easy to manage system that allows automated payments. Does anybody know of a system that will allow me to do this other than giving randoms my bank details and waiting for monies?

Cheers,

Biz

No idea on other systems like the Chilli one. But rather than giving bank details to randoms, how about you use paypal or Google Wallet (or whatever it's called).

Not as useful as the other system you mention but maybe better than bank details.

Other tips:

I've arranged 1 stag do... my best advice is to give all invitees as much notice about everything as possible. Also the more prompting you do the better. Otherwise some numpties won't turn up!

Also, get all their contact details on Facebook and setup an event with them all arranged. Makes it very easy to communicate with everyone and discuss plans/travel arrangements. You can even make it a 'secret' event and not invite the groom if you want to make your dastardly, humiliating plans for him!

HTH,
James

It's in non-car chat. That's what this part of the forum is *designed* for!!!

I recently attended a [free] event with ticketing organized through
http://www.eventbrite.co.uk
just seemed to work, certainly worth a look

There's such a great wealth of knowledge on here it would be a crime to waste it - now what do you want to know

Absolutely. This is exactly what the 'non car chat' is for. Anyone who just wants to read about cars shouldn't click it!
