Sky News - US supermarket baby snatch
Anyone seen this on Sky News?
CCTV footage shows a guy taking a child from a supermarket trolley and holding her at knife point. After a police officer tries negotiating with the
man he takes the decision to act and shoot the man at close range whilst he's still holding the child.
A brave officer!

Generally a grim state of affairs in America, when it comes to guns/knifes etc, and I hate to say it, but you can see why they can justify police with
guns as I would love to see a UK office deal with that situation with a baton!

Poor little kid, that must have been extremely traumatic  Still, that's one less poo floating in the US gene pool.

Makes a change, saves a fortune putting the bad guy in jail for gawd knows how long. How much would they have spent trying to 'help' the
obviously disturbed individual?
I guess now I'll sit back, grab some popcorn and wait for the Human Rights to give me some grief

I totally disagree with you - the social worker or whatever the US equivalent is should definately have been brought in to ask the guy who snatched
the child if he wanted to complain or get some support after the office had killed him.
