Pressure washers

The run of the mill Karcher pressure washers don’t seem to last more than two years without trouble.
Does anyone know if the more expensive models are built of better materials.Or do I have to consider a brand change,if so to what.My original Karcher internal was a huge induction motor with largely metallic pump.Like a lot of things it has been radically cheapened.
Advice welcomed

I've had a nilfisk e145 for a good few years now after a couple of karchers went pop. Just had to change a couple of o rings here and there otherwise has been perfect and I use it a lot. 4 cars in the house and use it for all the patio and drive plus conservatory cleaning etc.
