Anyone have a motor trade card?

Does any of you guys have a motor trade card that'd work in some of these wholesale places like Maccess etc. I've heard they do some great prices on wheels and tyres, as low as £20 a wheel so they say. Makes you wonder what some of these motor factors are making on each one they sell to the public. Not that I'm complaining about that, I'm just thinking that if a few of us can get together and buy bulk bits we all might use, ie brake parts, wheels, balljoints etc, then that would get us good savings. 'A members shop' for want of a better phrase. Halfords is just too expensive for all the parts I need. Let me know your views on all this anyway.

You have to be a bussiness to obtain a trade card, but there must be away around this as charities/scout groups and people like that have them.
Macces take cash only so i'm not sure if a bank account with locost builders would work, but its worth a try.

I have trade accounts for local to Chesterfield part suppliers and have made a trade application to Maccess.

Getting Collect Cash accounts isn't too difficult for motor clubs and should be possible for any regional LOCOST CAR CLUB groups

I also have a trade account with JT Friths but would have to accompany you there (ideal for that Locost Barbecue)

I have a trade card with maccess, its true, you have to be a business, with references etc, and be associated with the motor industry, ie, a computer company could not get an account. But locost might be able to get one i guess. Minimum spend is £100 but its not enforced to much.....
