I especially like the tasteful (ahem) superimposed picture of Ali G. That Pug 206 CC looks "great", I think cars in repulsive colours and with
pathetic front splitters look really fast, I wouldn't dare take something like that on once my car's on the road.
"Power, sound and on the ground" whatever, the latter two are debateable, the first one is just crap.

It's when you hear of people spending £25K+ to make a Vauxhall Nova look 'cool' that I despair (examples given in recent top gear/5th gear
programmes).
For that money you can build a respectable Ultima! Or buy a 2nd-hand Porsche 911, a very respectable Cateringvan, Wastefield, or Dax (yes, in spite
of what I've said elsewhere, C* and W* do make nice cars - I just wouldn't spend MY money on a C*!)
Some people need re-educating...
...with a big stick! (I couldn't spell shill.., shilae, shall.., you know, a big Irish stick )

Looked on a UK cruising site recently (for a larf - Honestly) to see people going into raptures about their modified cars. How much it had cost for
the purple paint that now adorned their Novas and how many watts of loud unpleasant crap they could play in the carpark near my house every night
(Bastards). and under the heading 'Tuning' where such extreme and effective engine mods as:
Silicone plug leads. (Awsome)
Splitfire plugs. (Wow)
Chrome rocker cover. (How fast will that make it go!)
K&N filter. (must have bought that by mistake)
All of which shpould just fail to increase the power enough to carry the weight of extra paint, let alone the kilos of glue on plastic that probably,
alone, costs more than my locost will!

The K&N is an acoustic addition.
The engine makes more noise and therefore must be quicker!
They need to make the engine louder so they can hear it above the "stereo". Hence the drainpipe sticking out the back!

I've never understood these new fangled radiograms they fit these days.
I guess you probably need it to hear the archers over the noise of your 5" tail pipe and that big tin dustbin mid subrange woof tweeter rattling
around in the boot.

To be fair, I've got a sub in my boot, and it is plenty powerful, but that's not the reason I've got it. I've got it because a car is one of the
worst listening environments for music, and it literally eats low frequencies, therefore they need to be produced at higher volumes and with more
clarity than in a normal room, so a sub is the only way to go, but you do need to balance it to your other speakers, not just have it as loud as
possible, shaking the windows out.
I saw someone with a modified and ICE'd up car not all that long ago, and he couldn't open the boot because it had been delocked, and had two 12"
subs in the back that he turned up so loud it caused the paint on the boot to crack. What can that have been doing to his ears?
