Registration and Number Plates
When you get the car SVA'd and then registered does the SVA engineer check the engine number against the log book of the supposed donor?
Also, would I be right in thinking that if you put in a different engine (ie new engine number) in a car you need to register this change with DVLA
and therefore they send you a new log book with updated details?
The reason I ask is I'm wondering if that's a way to get an age-related plate when you're engine is not from the same donor as everything else. IE.
first you register the different engine as being in the donor (with DVLA) and then use the new log book when it comes to getting the Locost
registered.
Am I speaking utter gibberish as usual or can this be done? Or are their easier ways...

Glad you enjoyed your ride but there was no need for the wet kiss.
