Quick rant approaching!!!!!!!
Just been in touch with Rimmer Bros to order flywheel to crank/clutch to flywheel bolts and a spigot bearing.
Bloke asked me what I was building so I told him, and the fact I was using a P6 V8 engine.
Lippy git said "I wouldn't bother". Why I said. "Rope seals, poor breathing head". he said.
"I've got the engine, have you got the parts" I said.
"No. I've got four (of six) flywheel bolts, no clutch bolts and no spigot bearings"
"OK, I'll go elsewhere"
If I am ever in a position to to spend 2 - 5 grand, Rimmer Bros can sit on the proverbial centre digit and spin about it's vertical axis.
What a tosser.
Rant over.

PS Spoke to Real Steel - all in stock - should arrive Wed!!

With regard to the rear rope seal, your friendly engine builder can re-machine the rear of the block to accept the later SDI seal.
Unfortunately the cheeky git's right about the heads though. The SDI ones are better, and there are a couple of aftermarket castings that offer big
improvements, but at a price.
Cheers, Rorty.
