Fun times ahead...
My daughter's off round the world for 8 or 9 months, and she's leaving her beloved car in my care...
...an 1800cc Golf GTi Turbo!
To save any hassles it's now registered in my name, and she's paid the insurance for the next year.
I thought I'd raised her to be more sensible than this...

Silly girl!
Actually most jealous of her trip.
Out of interest, what age car is it? Is it a new Golf? Didn't know off any standard petrol 1800 GTI turbos.
Thought the GTIs were 2.0 from MK3 onwards. Unless of course it's the 1.8 G60... which of course is Supercharged!
Just interested for my geeky Golf knowledge!
Cheers,
James

My sisters boyfriend had a Polo G40 until some idiot went through a redlight and plowed into the side of him. Was a nice car, bloody quick as well!

What do you mean, 'summer's here, get the 7 out' - I haven't put it away, I've been using it through the winter!
None of that wimpy winter SORN for me!

My daughter is planning a travel trip starting next year and I have told her I will look after her car whilst she is away - a 1998 Mini Cooper, proper
one, not a BMW clone
