Thomas Heatherwick
Did anyone see that programme about Thomas Heatherwick last night?
I thought that folding bridge he built was superb!

Normally would prefer to be in garage or out in the car.
but that had me totally trasfixed.
A british designer as well . The bridge was amazing if not a little phalic during its operation, as for ther glass brige I did wonder how a little
dirt between the pains would affect it.
All I can say is that if the bloke ever designs a kit car
A tallent I am sure we will be seeing a lot more of !!!

Management is like a tree of monkeys. - Those at the top look down and see a tree full of smiling faces. BUT Those at the bottom look up and see a
tree full of a*seholes .............

Missed the program, but my dad used to teach Thomas at Manchester Poly.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message.
However a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Really gets my goat. Much as the English/Welsh/Scots like to take the wee out of each other, as a team, we're probably the most talented,
innovative bunch on the planet.
Trouble is every great Brit idea is usually sold abroad
