You have to realise that a Robin Hood is cheaper for a reason and if you elect to build one, you will be digging deeper in to your skills than if you bought a more expensive kit with all the brackets in place ready. Its is also stronger by design and therefore heavier, a point often brought up builders of lighter kits, but this kit is designed to run on the road daily not as the ultimate trackday thrasher.
Pays your money, makes your choice.
They are great value for money and you can put them together with your own identity firmly on them.

cheers, it is the RS, it was know as the GT before general release - sorry

was wondering about the engineering of this new one by the new owners as i am aware of the compremises all the other models have...! and there were a few

i know RH cars can be dogs but also with correct attention to detail by the builder the older models could be A1 (but there were still issues with the chassis alignment and suspension arrangements)

ta for your reply - any more opinions about the construction of the RS??
i've not seen one with body panels on yet!!?

ta

Really a case of wait and see --- but I suspect strongly that Robin Hood have turned over a new leaf.

From what I saw at Newark I WANT ONE. Although the one at Newark was preped by a race firm the chassis looked very good indeed.

I havnt seen the body work yet though

I'm not convinced, that ferrari replica they had at newark looked as though it had been put together by stevie wonder... so much so that two guys were openly laughing at the fit and finish when i was looking at it which caused a bit of an arguement....
