Mine will be scratch built with lightweight brakes hubs etc, coming in @ £3k.
Engine £550
Brakes £350
Hubs £100
Metal £250
Seats £200
Wheels £300
Donor £100
I,m not sure where the rest goes but it does !
Don't forget the cost of a divorce...... Only joking but expect the SWMBO to lose interest shortly if you follow this route.
Regards Mark

4-4.5k I reckon mine will cost, bought a part built Indy kit off ebay though and got back some cash selling zetec and associated gubbins, only paid
970 for rolling chassis, and current total is 1190.
You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one
portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.

Pinto powered Indy - I gave up counting the cost accurately at around £3.5k, but I reckon about £5k all in not including SVA/ registration fees, tax
and insurance (when I get there).
Has kept me occupied and out of the pub for a good while though

Well there isnt much price difference between bike and car engined!!
Mine is in at 14k at the moment and rising for a vortx rt plus
you could have a BEC vortx rt plus on the road for less than 9k i would say!?!!
depends what the budget will stretch to
Built, Ivaed, Drove and now Sold - 2011 MNR VORTX RT+ 2000cc Zetec on R1 Throttle boddies.
