Yet another eBay scam

I had this email from eBay (or so I thought) this morning. It was in the familiar eBay format so I nearly didn't check, but there was no item number so I smelled a rat.
------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
Hello , What happened with that item?. Please respond I'm desperate!.
Thank you,
laurapurp3

Regards

------------------------------------------------------

Needless to say it is a scam to try and get you to click the link and give your login details.

Be careful out there

Cheers,
Raz

Best way to avoid all these scams - always go directly to Ebay.

I even hang up when my bank ring me and start asking for security details - there'll be a message on the system when I ring back if it's a real call!
