Exige Experience

After booking a holiday to LeMans again last June for 25 of us the lads all chipped in and bought me a Lotus Exige experience at Silverstone.

Booked in for a week on saturday. Its on the south circuit.

Cant wait! Has anyone done the south circuit before?

Just booked LeMans next year for 35! Might ask for a flying lesson next year!

I've done that - good fun! You'll be amazed how wide the track is in places - it's like driving on the M4...

BTW: Don't be afraid to go for it when driving - the instructor will at the end of the day.

Have fun!

David

Ive been round the GP circuit in a mates XR2i which im hoping will be different to the Exige! But I have a feel of the track layout, except the bit where it cuts across to becketts.

It does feel very wide in places, seems very different to TV and the hangar straight wasnt as long as I had imagined.

I did the Caterham experiance there, barrel of laughs, the only bit you wouldn't have experianced if the ireland complex.

also there's a lot of contrete mesh with grass going throughit if you want to cut corners (or the instructor wants to scare you).

ATB Dan.

The less I worked, the more i liked it.

top mates you have there

My wife got me an Elise experience at Thruxton last year. It's a great experience and the instructors was excellent. After the day my lap times at our local kart circuit improved by over a second

ENJOY and as David says, don't be afraid to go for it when you're driving!

Im hoping it will teach me abit more about RWD cars as the Indy is pretty much on the road now and apart from an old opel manta its the first RWD car ive had. (The manta never had enough power to loose grip!)
