I'm fairly sure there's a place you can report this to to get the lunatics banged up.
Scary thing is, 1% of the recipients of this prize are muppet enough to follow it through!

So how does the scam work?
If you're daft enough you send them your name and address etc.
I take it they then come back to you for bank details so that they know where to pay the money.
But how do they get anything out of it?
I've seen these before and am intrigued.

I imagine that with the info that they get, they could go out and take credit cards in your name then buy things from their own stores (ebay/paypal?),
then run with the cash leaving you with no credit rating and a massive debt (which will get cleared eventually, but your rating will be goosed for a
long time).
I have them all foiled though, because I already have no credit rating, so they'd never get anything issued under my name!
