yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

In my company we've been told NOT to install IE7 and in fact to install a "blocker" so it can't install itself automatically.

I guess the reason is because hackers, spyware, adware et al is all written specifically for IE (of any ilk) that's why I avoid it
personally!
The more I learn about PC's the less I like Micro$haft, basically as it is trying to monopolise the PC industry with its quirky (read
bug-ridden) coding and hacker, ad-friendly self confidence.
M$ has done much for the market of repeat (read disposable) business re PC's. Make PC's quicker then fill them full of absolute sh1te so
it slows it down again, then you buy a new one and so it goes on!

Since XP has come out ive had no problem with microsoft. but i am getting a second PC so i can learn my way round Linux. ill make the move to open
source one day but i know MS so much better and its working well for me atm.
Personaly I use Firefox because i i find it quicker and like the tabbed windows. I know IE7 does that now but theres a few other small things i
prefer about FF

Hi,
Firstly I will come clean and say I am an unashamed Linux user and Microsoft basher and I think Firefox is the best thing since warm toast but here
are a couple of independent articles I have read recently which reminded me why I don't use MS products:
http://www.theregister.com/2006/10/29/microsoft_vista_eula_analysis/
Note, you might want to skim over most of the first page of this article as it spends a bit too long setting the scene.

Cheers,
Craig.

Ah yes Firefox has its new spell checker, its a good idea but the one built in to windows live messenger is better. if MS ever get round to
incorporating that in to IR that would be nice.
