Build Dairies??

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know of any build diaries that are going on at the moment?

The DP1 build will be updated less until the new year and Marcels MK indy zetec build diary is just about finished.

I'm mostly interested in ones where people are making their own bodywork, or doing something out of the ordinary. The Mride 3 wheeler was a good example.

Any pointers will be appreciated. Might even get around to my own diary.

Can't say mine's as impressive as those projects, i'm just a beginner at this - but it's certainly not your usual seven...

Detailed diary here:

and major updates are being posted in the middy forum here

Hi - mine is your average build diary of a +4 locost building in South Africa although I do spend some time discussing the changes and problems and solutions I have dealt with.

http://www.Locostsa.co.za/BuildDiaries/Ivan/My_Diary_14.htm

This will take you to diary installment no 14 - you can page back and forth thereafter. I am currently at entry 16 and will soon post No 17.

Diaries i've seen

Depends if you want ones still 'in build' or don't mind ones where it's been finished, but:

there's the McLaren/McBearen one being discussed elsewhere on the site, which has great stuff on aluminium bodywork

There's the fiat twincam morris minor which is great for chassis / suspension (maybe not for bodywork)

This one is a MX5-based locost in the US, with good links to others too

They could keep me busy for hours, must avoid them at work!

HTH,
Adam.

Oh, that one's mine. I didn't think anyone ever read it. It's a bit too tarted up at the moment, but I should have a more easily read website before the years end.
