GTS situation.
Rather than clutter up the GTS section....
I've spoken with Darren this morning (who responded within a couple of hours of my email) and he's asked me to mention that things will be
back to normal (cue some people complaining about "normal" ) soon.
I won't divulge what the issue was but I have no reason to doubt its validity and trust me when I say that it would affect anybody very very
deeply/seriously.
Whilst some people would rather still get "stuck in" to him, I think this is a time where support is required.
I've had an update on my order status and I'm happy.
I would suggest that it is probably best to contact Darren via email for a while given the circumstances and let him respond in his own time, which
was certainly quick in my case.
With regards to the previous "get a refund from your credit card" thread, I would suggest that this phonecall may have happend at a very
very bad time although the customer wasn't to know this, had the circumstances been explained I'm sure the thread wouldn't have been
started in the first place.

not being funny but if everyone had a better idea of whats going on i am sure everyone would be alot more understanding .
but all the best to darren anyway , ive had some very good parts from him .

Yes i had an update with my order,
darren said i had it, then 30seconds later said what order, carnt find an order
it was ok take the money

It would seem from the above that Darren's head is elsewhere at the moment. The post from 'the_fbi' would appear to confirm this.
I personally would infer a bereavement. Surely a little breathing space would be in order.
As I see it, 'ch1ll1' could; ch1ll, give the guy time to sort himself or get his money back via his card provider if desparate.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

Hasn't this been going on a bit longer than a bereavment would??? Think if Darren wasn't fit to work he should have been honest and up
front with ppl...e-mailed or written to them tell them their order will be delayed, offer a refund if people would prefer and hand over to someone
else or don't answer phones for a while. I really don't think it can be an excuse for such bad service...I know this will seem
controversial but I think its the descent thing to do....my guess is if he'd been honest about delays in orders and even offered refunds people
would have been cool with it....They probably wouldn't have taken the refunds anyway but would be more supportive when they hear news like
this.....Sorry if I've annoyed anyone as obviously I've never dealt with GTS or know anything about what is going on. I'm just
trying to put myself in ch1ll1's shoes....don't think I'd be too understanding either! Oli.
