Nationwide bank email
Just received the following email from nationwide bank ---
Dear valued member ,
Due to concerns, for the safety and integrity of the Nationwide
account we have issued this warning message.
It has come to our attention that your Nationwide account information needs to be
updated as part of our continuing commitment to protect your account in this year 2006 and to
reduce the instance of fraud on our website. If you could please take 5-10 minutes
out of your online experience and update your personal records you will not run into
any future problems with the online service.
Once you have updated your account records your nationwide account
service will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.

As I am not a nationwide bank custumer it is obviously a fraud - the link asks for all your login details !!!!!!!!

I also had one from them today also I'm not a nationwide account holder.

me too, it pisses me off that no one ever seems to get nicked for these scams.

I got it 3 times in one go, but it was in the junk folder. It didnt look in the slightest genuine & I'm new to all this computer crap.

I always reply to these with some "ceative" account details and passwords etc., just for a laugh.
I imagine them trying to draw funds from an account called I.M.A. F**kwit with the password A**f**ker and such like.
A bit Bart Simpson but what the hell.

You should report this to the Nationwide. Banks are supposed to follow up on phishing things.
I wouldn't reply, even with "creative" details, as your message tells them that yours is a valid address and they may try something
a bit more sophisticated.

I'm Probably being really dumb but how does it jump from the nationwide to the phishing site when it has a www.nationwide.co.uk link.
