New band in Kent: The Lobes

Shameless plug for my son's band - The Lobes. They played a gig in May at the Tunbridge Wells Forum, then after a name change to The Lobes and a few months writing some new songs and recording an EP, they had another gig last night in Frant (ooh, don't they get around!).

If you have a moment, please take a look at their Myspace site http://www.myspace.com/thelobesmusic and have a listen. http://www.thelobes.com also goes to the same page.

They are looking for gigs in the Sevenoaks/TonbridgeTunbridge Wells area, so if you know of anything...

Cheers

Some people are worried about the difference between right and wrong. I'm worried about the difference between wrong and fun.

No, but they do have quite an EAR for a tune, and here are some other definitions of Lobes:

The 15-20 separate portions of the mammary gland connected together by ducts

Rounded and flattish, or hanging part often divided by a gap.

Different parts of the brain (Fontal, Parietal, Temporal & Occipital) of the brain.

free tips of flower or leaf parts that are fused at the base

In telecommunication, the term lobe has the following meanings: # An identifiable segment of an antenna radiation pattern. (Note: A lobe is characterized by a localized maximum bounded by identifiable nulls.) # A pair of channels between a data station and a lobe attaching unit, one channel for sending and one for receiving, as seen from the point of view of the attached data station.
