Track and Race Cars magazine
Anyone seen the December issue just realised it should be out now and it wasn't at my usual newsagent on the way to work?

AKA Alfa Romeo Racecar Monthly
I've stopped buying it - so little of it was applicable to me.
The copy with a review of an Alfa racer, a 'New Products' section full of Alfa bits and the revelation that there was an Alfa tuning guide
in the next edition finsihed me off.
Bring back CCC.

I do prefer Practical Performance Car as some of the articles could be a little light on decent info.
I was interested in the Track Car group test as the Striker was in it last year. Saying that I spoke to Mel at RAW yesterday and they hadn't
been contacted to do it again.
The website is out of date too.

I got a letter from them explaining that they have had a change in ownership and the magazine would be published about a week later than normal. I
havent received my december copy as yet either.

I've stopped buying it as so many articles seemed to concentrate on cars that were 'only' £10,000++, and lot's of focus on
race series which isn't for me. Not saying it's a bad mag, just that PPC applies more to me that T&RC does.

To be honest I'm at a loss to know why people rave about PPC. I find a lot of the articles frustratingly light on technical info eg comments
along the lines of 'after a bit of headscratching the RR Merlin engine eventualy fitted into the Smart car and now runs very well on Johns
daily journey to work', a pretty picture of the engine instalation and thats it........
