Still not on the road...
I decided to make a car trailer before my SVA retest - borrowing a transporter was such a major logistical exercise. Anyway it was taking forever for
the ally for the wheel channels to arrive.
Found out why today - the lorry with it on got hijacked. Apparently 60 grands worth of non-ferrous metals on the trailer went walkies. Al, stainless
etc. are so valuable now it's flavour of the month among the scum.
Still hope to have a MAC cert. for christmas though.....

Keep your chin up, nothing is going to stop you getting a MAC.
Can you drive it there?
Steve.

Converted caravan chassis are qiute poular light car trailers. I'm building from scratch & paying quite a lot for aluminium! It seems all
non- ferrous has gone up 2x in a year with copper over 3x!!
No worries for me, but I could have done without more delays! Wouldn't fancy 25miles on a motorway in winter as a maiden voyage.....
cheers
