Frontera flasher relay
Can anybody tell me where I can find the flasher relay on a Vauxhall Frontera, found the ones for the side lights and wipers etc but can't seem
to find one marked up as for the indicators.
My dads frontera blows a 15amp fuse when turning left or using the hazards, right is ok, we have gone through looking for a dead short on the
indicator units, front, rear & side but can find anything wrong so am maybe thinking about a faulty relay.
Anybody got any ideas? Has anybody got a manual on pdf? Waiting for my membership to get approved for the fronteraowners club so can post on there
as well.
Any help would be really appreciated
Regards
Rich

The only other link to "Turn left only" you might have missed is if there's an individual left and right tell-tale indicator light
on the Dashboard like some Vauxhalls have.

Does it have a towbar fitted? may well be corrosion in the 7 pin socket . Also to find the flasher relay switch on the right hand indicator and listen
for the relay clicking although I think the switch is probably fed via the relay so fault lies in or after the switch.

Thanks guys, it does have a tow bar fitted and have more or less ruled out the tow bar as I have disconnected it at the rear quarter and it still
blows the fuse, could be up at the front as the relays for the towbar look a right dogs breafast. Wierd this is when I put on the left turn it makes
a clicking noise like a relay behind the glove box but I can't see anything like a relay there and eventually blows the fuse maybe after about
30 secs but if I put on the hazards it blows straight away.
Does this ring any bells?
Cheers
