Never heard of it.

Is it like the kibosh?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I did the NEBOSH.

A week in the class, two weeks off and another week in the class. Exams the following Monday. It was the most stressfull month of my life. Two lever arch files to learn, f*cking nightmare.

I went through loads of past papers as there was just too much to learn, especially the occupational hygiene etc. etc.

Managed to fluke a distinction though, with a score of 1-1-1

Whch one are you doing Certificate or Diploma.
Hard work but worth it in the end, found the HSC publications very helpfull.
The biggest problem was trying to learn regulations etc for areas that were totally foreign to me ie working at height, pressure vessels etc.(its so very broad based)
All the best.

Liam, I'm in Pontypool. A fair trek from Milford.

I've got loads of past papers if you want to borrow them. Bear in mind, I passed two years ago (still gives me nightmares now !)

Thought the course was pretty crap, only went to see what we could get away with on site. Managed to pick up a prohibition notice a few months after I qualified

Contractors, eh ?

I could post them to you tomorrow, you'd have them Wednesday.

That'll give you Wed / Thurs night to look at them, if that's of help ?

Passed mine about 8 years ago and I agree it is a very stressful process.
However, even more stressful and a lot more expensive are the ACS Gas Safety exams I take ..... plus it's your livelyhood up the pan if you fail them!

Best of luck.

Hi Liam

Did mine several years ago - we must be very safe in Wales! It was an application of common sense that got me through - what looks dangerous usually is!

Best of luck

Regards

Wyn

ACS exams are only difficult if you don't know what you're doing
