Tin-top advice

Hi guys,

Having only just got my Locost on the road I think its best to keep in garaged so I am looking to get a tin top. That and the fact that i just changed jobs and chose more money in my new job over getting a car from my old job.

Want to get something a bit quick and perhaps a little special. For some reason all the cars i have shortlisted are German.

So which, if any, do i go for?

Provided you can verify the service history including an overhaul of the supercharger then the Corrado would be my choice. Far more interesting than an Audi cab IMHO and reasonably quick too with good tuning potential.

The car apparently comes with files and files of receipts and had full VW dealer services until 90,000miles. Cam belt done recently etc.

Used to belong to a Corrado Owners Club member.

BTW, the other two are Audi Coupes not cabs

For just a wee bit more dough you could opt for the Audi S2 Coupe - a real flying machine and plenty more tuning potential than a fragile G60...

Those that opted for the V6 Coupe obviously went for the low miles because the 2.6 is a bit of a smooth Sunday drive engine... Nothing like the inline 5s in the earlier phase 2 coupes. The 2.0 16v I presume is the ACE - won't set the world on fire but still has tuning options.

Out of interest are the models in your avatar German I can't quite see...

Have had a few objections to my Avatar so I have taken it down for alterations. Not sure if they were German or Swiss. I'll ask them when they come over later.

Now they have baubles!
