Right
but will it pull a horse box ?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Ford Focus with a Horse Box and including a Horse, will probably exceed the Max Braked Towing Limit weight for the Focus.
Which I think is 900Kgs for a Focus, but you would need to check
Horse Box + Horse is pushing the weight limits for most cars. MBTL for most cars is about the same weight as the car. You would be towing at 100% or
more, which is not good news or too safe.
I would suspect that a horse box and horse weights well over a 900Kgs.
Get a Heavier car or a 4x4. Do it properly and be safe to yourself and others.
You may also need to take an appropiate Towing test. This is a pretty good site, but heavy reading!
