Sky !
1) SKY EAR, wait for it!;
Sky Ear is a one-night event in which a glowing "cloud" of mobile phones and helium balloons is released into the air so that people can
dial into the cloud and listen to the sounds of the sky. WTF?
Exactly how bored would you have to be?
2) I have just phoned Sky ( Yes I know, I should have known better.) to ask about Freesat. Ad states pay £150. 00 and that's it. No monthly
bill.
At the moment we have the family package @ £21 p.m.
The salesman said I would only only get the basic package and because I am a current customer I don't get a new dish and set top box unless I
ask for it. Duh?
When I asked, "Can we get the same package that we have now?" The reply was , "yes it will cost you £21.00 p.m."
SO WHY THE F*CK WOULD YOU PAY THEM £150.00?
Freesat my bottom parts.
Rant over............................and relax.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

I already have digital satellite equipment - what else do I need?
All you need to get access to the free channels available on the digital satellite platform is a freesat viewing card which costs just £20.

Or just cancel your sky subscripition and then you will get the same chanels as available on freesat with your existing card.
Ive just done it and after a wait on the phone i was eventualy put through to an advisor who tried to talk me out out of cancelling , he said do you
realise that you will only have a few channels to watch if you cancel ? .My reply was I had already told him I didnt have time to watch tv and when I
do theres never anything on apart from the same repeated programmes and loads of boring crap so why would i be worried about not being able to watch
it?
The £21 a month will now be able to be spent on my car which is a more worthwhile cause in my mind.
Paul.
