xmas bonus

Not that I’m jealous or anything (yeah right) but last night my gf came home with a brand new mac, laser printer and adobe as a xmas bonus from her company, so that if she doesn’t need to go into the office in the week she can work from home if she likes and got £500 too

Spoilt Cow…

Wifey came home with the same bonus as last year - £1500....

I don't get mine til April (but should be more)

But I do get an extra payment every december for being on the H&S commitee - £350 is very handy at this time of year

Xmas Bonarse??

Some folks don't know their luck! Never had any bonus, when I was working, except for 1 year. Then, I got a free pair of safety shoes.

BTW - Was in the motor industry (remember that?).

And that has come out of everyone else's pension funds and investments. I often wonder how much it would be if shared amongst those who have actually provided the money. I wouldn't mind so much if they had to pay it back in years they make a loss for their employer.....

Now I feel like scrouge for saying that, hope I am not as I am all for people making as much money as possible, it is just that I don't feel the city traders really earn their money - they just get lucky playing with other peoples at very little risk to themselves. And then go out and buy Bugatti Veyrons!

I haven't decided whether I can afford to pay myself a Christmas bonus or award days off yet.

I've never had a bonus but I can't see what the fuss is, a printer and a brand new rain jacket. Sounds pretty rubbish.

I just retired after 27 years...never had a bonus. Never had Christmas or New Years off, either, since 1978. I'm looking forward to this one...still no bonus (or card, or dinner, or "Merry Xmas!", or anything though...)
