Leon Boot Lock

Guess this is karma...

Tried to open the boot on the leon today to take a load of stuff to the tip, boot wont open though

When i press the button on the key fob i can feel the solenoid(?) on the boot lock activate but the handle just wont open the boot.
Ive tried to take a look from inside the boot but i carnt seem to find anyway to remove the boot trim, anyone know a way to remove the trim?

The only other option i could think of was to use the dremmel to remove a square section of the trim right behind the lock and try to free it up to open the boot and take it from there.

Before you start to rip everything to bits it might be worthwhile checking your battery charge. I know it sounds a bit far fetched but my 3 series refused to let me in the boot until it had a new battery - the old one just didn't have enough oomph to throw the solenoid completely.
