Is this a bargain?
Yeah i know it's a replica but with a bit of thought it could look (from a distance) reasonably convincing.

Based on a 240Z. Had a 260Z back in '84. Great cars, got a little heavy with the 280Z etc though.

Driver airbag? With that steering wheel? Passenger airbag ?
ABS on a 1972 car ? Maybe.
The huge yellow badge is sooooo naff.
Oh and he's been a member since 2 Jan 2007 ?

ok so you can tell its a 240 but hey most young folk don't remember those anyway.
I like it, real one's had a big badge there anyway, think the F40 had one also.
Not bad at all for the money and the dash is not far off either. cool.

I know that technically, we're all building replica's, but is it just me who finds these replica's quite sad?
I cringe at the thought of posing in the thing & meeting someone who see's it for what it is

I like it and at £4k its a lot better as a daily driver than an MX5 or a Ford Focus!
I'd never pretend it was the real thing, and if I bought it I'd be tempted to de-badge it.

A decent 240z would be worth that much, they used to rot like hell, but were one of the fastest cars of there time.
It would need a very good looking at, lots of fibreglass could be hiding a complete dog !

If you like it: look at it.
Stating the obvious but it is only a classified so you can barter as you see fit. Personally I would never buy a car without an inspection, but others
dont always.
Couple things I think it could improve itself on...
I'd remove the badges (legally I think it could be classifeid as copyright invasion or possibly fraud) and anyone who knows the car would
reconize it. Anyone who didnt could then just see the car for the designed beauty it holds rather than the symbol of ego affixed.
The second thing is the wheel arches and wheels dont look like the match each other. Might just be the photos but some new wheels and boots would
improve this if its central.
Personal advise followed by opinion. Constructive comments gratefully recieved, picking is left for noses.

Is it just me or is it slightly the wrong shade of red for a ferrari?

I think it looks pretty good! Many replicas either look too short or too tall or otherwise disproportioned, but this doesn't look too bad,
actually. The color would look better if it were a bit darker I think. Also the wheels look a bit too small. I'm not a big fan of the huge
sie-badges either... all in all, it looks like a very tidy car though. Sure worth taking a look if you're in the area!

I have to agree with mark, if it was still a 240Z and in good condition it would be worth it but i've never seen a good one of these on the road
in kit form.
Waste of a 240Z

I like it & if it's in good order doesnt seem dear. You can see the 240Z in the doors & screen so you wont fool any petrolheads but I
think replicas are fine if done right.
Then again as has been said a 240Z was a nice motor anyway.

Wasn't the 240Z a bit of a ferrari copy anyway? paint it red and take off the datsun badges and the people convinced y the plastic would be
equally convinced IMHO!

I agree with Bob, prefer to have a standard 240.
That's not the way to go about making a replica, imho of course. That involves renting one (not likely admittedly), molding it, and going from
there.

I dont think Hertz rent 250 GTOs!
Shame really!
It looks as though they have left it in gel coat red, maybe if they sprayed it Rosso red or whatever Ferrari red is it might look better.
