O/T Peugeot 307 airbag diconnection??

Anyone know how to disconnect the drivers airbag on a pug 307 as i have to remove it to get to a faulty horn switch? Or if anyone has had the same trouble please share.

disconnect battery and have a nice cuppa for an hour or so while the capacitor drains down,wear a crash helmet just in case,ive removed loads and never had a problem

Look at the back of the horizontal spokes, there is a small hole in each one . Use a coople of screwdrivers inserted into holes and pushed against a spring {you have to feel for them} Pull the airbag from the wheel , 2 small connections and its off

So the battery needs to be disconnected and then wait for 1 hour then insert a couple of screwdrivers into the access holes at the rear of the steering wheel and feel for a spring fastener??

Is that all there is to it apart from eyes tight shut and bottom clenched??
