Locost Owners Club at Newark?

Any sign of them at Newark? They used to hold their AGM there, so I was just wondering if it happened...

Well yes,

First of all I think we should all thank Rory Perret, who has run the club from it's inception, and Steve Gibbons who continues as treasurer( even though he looks a bit shifty to me)

It's like this. If your membership has expired, say in november last year then it will be bumped forward a year to this November. You'll get a renewall notice then.

If you sent a cheque and it has been cashed then your membership will continue until one year from when it should have expired.

If you sent a cheque and it Hasn't been cashed, you will be contacted by post and posibly asked if you wish to proceed (you might need to send another cheque)

New memberships will be taken in due course (by Marcus)

Your new newsletter editor, generalisimo Chris Gibbs will endevour to have a newsletter to you if you're still on the list by the end of August.

Subject to me being arsed and to contributions such as tips and build diarys arriving.

you can send 'em to me at the e-mail below.

Cheers

Chris

Undesirables such as Bob and the hippy will be "dealt with"

So what happened to the club? I joined and got a few newsletters a while ago, but thats all. Never got a reminder or anything?

Did it just go tits up? Am I likely to still be a member?

Cheers

"I refer the learned gentleman to the answer I gave some moments ago"

You'll get something Graham either the next newsleter, or a renewal notice, unless your membership lapsed before june 2002, in which case you'll have to join again, the subs are still £10

It's going to take a while to sort everyone out.

Bear with us

Cheers

Chris

Bob, thats how they keep the membership price down! I'll be a new member once you get sorted.

Don't you know anyone that'll do the printing and finishing, for a decent price?

Why not give an option of e-mailing it to people as a .doc or .pdf?

No postage or printing costs to worry about, instant delivery and environmental benefits and good for those of us who prefer not to have bits of paper kicking about.

Cheers,

James

Lets see

Bob - Quarterly Newsletters so that'll be ...................um ..........Four per year.

Hippy - I'd drive Marcus myself to get a tenner from you!

Mark - we're ok for the printing, unless you know someone cheaper in our area -I'll see you at the next meet.

Jimmy(You don't mind me calling you Jimmy do you?) - Surprisingly for you that is quite a good idea, when we're sorted I'll try to make it an option.

Cheers

Chris

Sorry

Cant do anything with the printing or finishing, and i doubt if any of the firms i've worked for that have operations in Yorkshire would entertain it

I'll have mine off the net if possible.

Hippy,

We have ways of extracting tenners from non beleivers. Most of them involve pulling individual hairs from sunburnt necks until payment is offered or making hippys pick up burning barbeques and singeing their arms, only being allowed to let go when the old tenner is promised
