There is a minimum allowable room temperature for offices; if it’s too low they have to send you home.

I've just been down to the garage with its massive gaping hole in the window. After wiping the nice bit of mildew off the steering wheel and firing her up I sent my self home!

That's also my understanding (though I last looked 10 years ago)
There is a maximum temperature IIRC.

No, there is no maximum, or minimum.

The WHO suggest a max working temp of 25 deg, some workers unions 30 deg but obviously that cant be applied to all jobs, so there is no actual legal maximum working temp, only guidelines for 'comfortable working temperatures'

The HSE state that for office jobs a min temp of 16deg is resonable, and for physical jobs 13 deg.

Where those temps cant be met, the company should take reasonable steps to ensure a 'comfortable' working environment can be acheived through protective clothes etc. The definition of reasonable is also variable depending on the area being assessed.
