contacting an ebay member
Im trying to contact an ebay member, hes just had an auction end with no bids. the auction had already ended before i found out about it.
If i use the 'contact seller' button, ebay blocks the message. The guys not selling anything else so i cant get to him that way.
Iv'e contacted a couple of people hes bought from recently in the hope they would have his email address. One sent me his telephone number, but
sadly its 'not recognised' i guess he's changed phones. Iv'e run out of detective ideas now, anyone
think of another way to contact him?

You can only try a few more people he's sold to or wait until he sells something else.
Unless you have a mate who can tell you who the reg plate is reg's to in the photo!

Ebay will block it if u word it like u want to buy something out of auction..
Isnt there a way you can search for his details....

If you go to advanced search and click find memeber you should be able to get him. ebay block that from time to time too though.

Cheers i tried that but it comes up with the same warning, hopefully the seller might respond to 02gf74's mail.

I tried to message him too and ebay blocked me!
Dont know how you got around that one 02GF74. Have you bought items from him in the past? Doubtful i know, but cant see any other way around it!

you tried the way where you click on the users name, then click the "contact member" button on the right hand side, they may block you
from emailing about an item but they prob wont block you for just a general email through the community messaging system, worth a try

yeah i tried that too, still blocked me. One good bit of news is one of his previous buyers has forwarded my details to him, so with 02GF74's
thats two messages that have got through. Only downside is, he might think i'm a desperate buyer and not want to budge on price
