I normally get it. It's about the best motoring mag out, IMHO.

The only problem is that once I've started reading it, I start wondering where I'd find about 600 grand from......

I used to get in monthly but have recently curbed my magazine buying habit and now only get it when there is something really intersting in it.

Its a reasonable read but there are generally only a few articles that really interest me in each copy......Gordon Murray column is always interesting

EVO might be the best mainstream style mag but PPC is way better in my opinion.....I normally read that cover to cover which with EVO i wouldnt.

(I couldnt bring myself to curb my PPC mag buying habit )

I think i should be on commission from PPC the amount of times i recomend it

I'm in my first year of subscription at the mo and was wondering whether any other subscribers received their copy later than it was available in the shops??

Seems to be a fairly common problem, that is often bought up on PistonHeads. I can undestand how it would become a little irksome......but i thought that they had got better recently.

Maybe have a moan and see if you can blag some free stuff

I've been a subscriber for a couple of years. I find the photography and the quality of writing worth it.

Got my copy in the post this morning. When was it in the shops? I know they had problems with the last issue which they apologised for on the subscriber news.

Been a subscriber for a few years now. Today was a great day as the grey envelope was here when I got home. I used to read Car, but moved over to evo as it is written by people who are real enthusiasts - they get as excited about a Panda as a Zonda, recognising each for its specific strengths. Also, where else can you read long term reports on a Muceliago, Porsche Carrera GT, Westfield 11 and Zonda. OK, so very few of us will ever have the pleasure of ownership, but the reports are fascinating to me.

Edited to add - plus they ran an article which included my Dad's car with some great photos of it. Makes any magazine special when it features a car owned by a family member. And they rate my car as five stars

I took advantage of one of those "3 issues for £1" deals because I've always liked Evo but don't like spending too much money on magazines. In the end it turns out you actually get 4 issues for that price! I cancelled my subscription because I never intended to carry it on after the trial, but it was nice while it lasted

I bought Issue 1 and except for a couple, I've read every one.

GF bought me a subscription for Xmas a few years back and because she's an absolute angel (and fool for ending up with me!) she's kept it going.

Awesome photography and some of the best writing around. Favourite article of recent time was when one of the editors went Masser racing - finished the article tingling with excitement. Quality!

Read Evo, then pick-up one of the Kit Car monthlys. Makes you wonder how they get away with such sh*te journalism.

I've subscribed to Evo for several years now and think it is the best mainstream car mag out there by a long way.

The only problem is their increasing tendency to focus on 'aspirational' cars and SUVs. I understand why but it does push them further away from where my interests lie.

I'm just about to cancel my subscription as there's little of relevance to me in there anymore. I don't really care if Mercedes have brought out yet another 600bhp 2ton uber-repmobile. I'd take a 150bhp 450kg BEC over one for driving thrills any day (and if anyone wants to donate one i'd be very grateful ).

We did get Circuit Driver at work for a while, and it is excellent. So good in fact that the MD snaffled it for himself and now we never see a copy.

Has anyone bought "Full Throttle" yet? 1st issue was due out yesterday. It's a new sister magazine to PPC and is supposed to be the "only UK club motorsport" magazine.

Don't get much browsing time these days, but it sounds interesting.

Always worth getting issue 1 of anything as in a years time chances are 50:50 it will be going for £25 on ebay.

I have been a subscriber for about 4 years now. wonderful mag. Great writng, fantastic photography. The problem with PPC or kit car mags is that the writing/editing is terrible. The last time i bought Which Kit I was shocked by the lack care taken by the editor. EVO is by far the best car mag. Yes it does showcase rather exotic cars, but it also does touch on kits etc (they tested the Dax Hayabusa Turbo recently) and real world cars. Long live EVO!

Hi the full throttle mag was a huge disapointment after all the razamtaz they put out to try to get us to advertise .

And when i read the article about ( the most dangerous race in the world) It just about sums them up.

A complete idiot who cant drive in a westfield 11 who has not got a clue what he is doing.

cheers matt
