To keep it in the true spirit of locost I'm using this from Ebay just to monitor before and after temps from the chargecooler

Should give me a reasonable idea of what's happening temp wise!

I've put them both sides of the chargecooler in your case intercooler between the silicone hose and the alloy pipe with just the tip of the sensor pocking through a few mm then re tighten the hose clip carefully!

The sensors are a bit cheep and nasty but seem to work ok!
I haven't driven it with them fitted yet, still waiting for my wideband kit before I take it out again!

where did you get your charge cooler from, do you think they work better than an intercooler?? I have had to move my inntercooler under the bonnet as it restricted air flow really bad being in front of therad, Im just worried its not going to work properly, Im now trying to 'box in' the air flow to the rad and oil cooler,I have cut a hole in the bottom of the nose cone to give a direct flow to the oil cooler, everthing is fine im just trying to make sure that when the weather is really hot everything can cope!!whats your opinion on these matters, and what water/oil temp are you running under load??

Ive got to go to Northampton at some point,it would be nice to come and see you and have a nose and chat!!
Andrew.

take a look on www.thinkauto.com, look in the on-loine catalogue (.pdf) and in the oil cooler section - laminova or similar name.
