Billy the Whizz is actually younger than this Jeffrey - first appeared in the Beano on 16th May 1964 (according to wikipedia - if you believe that
sort of thing)!
A mate of mine once had a Jeffrey J4 which seems to have been the 'inspiration' behind the Formula 27 - chassis wise it had inboard rocker
suspension at the front and leading arm links to the live axle rear.

Nice, get a bike engine in it and we're off!
Might have to ditch the steering wheel though, it's just a tiny bit the BIGGEST STEERING WHEEL I HAVE EVER SEEN.
