An Alternative to 'Car Builder Solutions'?

Dare I even ask the question or post my comments?...

but it seems that I've been spending LOTS of my hard earned cash on tiny pieces for my car.

Just feel their prices are a little too steep for didy things (and then there's the VAT and shipping too)

Don't get me wrong, the service has been tip top but is there anywhere else cheaper?

Should try taking shares out really!

I found them to be significantly more expensive compared to other places... you just gotta hunt around. You can get identical products elsewhere.

I think I bought a couple of flexi hoses from them and that was it in the whole build.

I can't recommend anywhere specific as having the exact same stock... just keep checking all the places available. Can assure you, you can take a bloody long time hunting down the bargains!

Check the 'links' link above for other suppliers.

HTH,
James

merlin, rallydesign, tifosi, screwfix, b&q are a few that I've used for odds and sods. many bits are adaptable depending on what you need.

Surely that's how they make their cash? Get together all the bits and pieces required in a built and sell them from one place....

I agree though- some of their prices seem a bit steep.
Demist plenum from vacformed plastic £14 each(!) for example.....

Had the same experience here!

Very very good service - always next day delivery and when they sent the wrong stuff once - one phonecall at 5pm on a thursday got the bits from them in Kent to me in Newcastle by the next day but.......

Still very expensive!

Have found rally designs prices to be pretty good actually....try them maybe?
