paypal, new one on me..... ??
Had this email, personal details removed, the payment is also shown as pending in our account with an expected clearance date of 12th April.
But why as it seems too me send a cheque too paypal ? Why not send it too us direct ? Didnt know you had the option too send a cheque too paypal
???

Have you checked your account using your own login or a link from this email?
If someone is paying by bank transfer, paypal will warn you to wait until the payment has cleared into your account.
If you did sell this item, then this is perfectly normal.
You can stop this type of payer if you select instant payment required when you list your items, but remember this will also exclude anyone who do
not have a paypal account.

Its an echeque, it is basically a bank transfer. they don't actually write a cheque.

Then this is normal......you just have to wait until the funds clear.

normally happens when the sender doesn't have a backup funding source for their paypal account, paypal wait until the money clears from their
account until giving it to you.
i;ve had it a couple of time

echeques are a valid form of paypal payment.
Mainly used by people without credit or debit cards, just let the buyer know that as soon as the echeque has cleared you'll dispatch the
product.

I removed my credit card from paypal, just debit from my bank account as only small transactions. Paypal now always send payment as an echeque. I
assumed it was because I'm not using a credit card anymore.
Ned.
